What's the best business advice you've received?

Best piece of business advice: bootstrap! maybe you have access to cash & maybe you don't; it doesn't really matter if you don't have the chutzpah to really succeed. Starting with a bunch of resources, if you have never had a business before, will only give you more ways to waste resources. If you bootstrap for a bit you learn to think creatively, to reduce, re-use & recycle, to network, to listen to your customers, to find gems of advice from suppliers and mentors & learn every nuance of the job so as to be able to train new hires for success in the company. Even if you don't have to, any entrepreneur can benefit from having to bootstrap.
