Janine DeCresenzo Jewelry
Tell us about your business.I am Janine, the designer and maker of Janine DeCresenzo Jewelry. I am also the bookkeeper, marketer, promoter, traveler, sales person, set-up crew... simply said, I do it all! I enjoy every aspect of the business, but I am truly happy while creating the jewelry. In my studio I am an engineer, an inventor, and a scientist, working to create jewelry that has a history and tells a story. Starting with a simple sheet of silver, designs are cut, formed and fabricated, evolving and developing into wearable art. Hand cut coral speckled with bezel set stones, fossils, and piano key ivory are some of the materials incorporated into my jewelry designs. Inspired by aquatic life, elements in nature, and urban relics. The jewelry I create is elegant yet primitive, antique as well as space-age, balanced within asymmetry, and organic with an industrial twist. My goal is to have my business evolve and grow. time focusing on creating, expanding, developing my line of jewelry.
