Tell us about your business.Started as an idea early in 2012 and finally launching as a facebook page on Decemebr 25 2012. We are now at 17,500+ fans and we post new recipes, tips & tricks, and our favorite pinterst pins frequently. Early in 2013 we launched version 1 of our website. Just a simple wordpress blog with recipes. We are now on version two and the website's role is evolving. The goals of our website now is to be a resource of valuable information pertaining to all things food. There are many sites that have recipes but our goal will be to launch a program that will actually teach you cooking techniques. Our users will acquire these skills through our website, our mobile apps (in development), and monthly publications (in the works). This is just the beginning!
What makes your business stand out?Ours goals are what will make us different. We're not trying to push recipes at people but if we can teach people the basics of cooking and flavor profiles they'll be able to make their own recipes with confidence. Then when our user has made a recipe that can't help but brag about, we'll post it on our site for everyone to see!
What's the best business advice you've received?I am 24 years old and have known since I was a kid that entrepreneurship is where I belonged. I have read many books on the subjects of leadership, business and entrepreneurship. I have found the best advice I have ever been told is to be passionate about what I am doing. That'll make the hard days not as bad and make the journey all the more rewarding.
