Presence is an app that turns iPhone's, iPad's, or iPod Touch's into a free WiFi video surveillance system with motion detection, alerts & more

Tell us about your business.

Gene Wang and David Moss started People Power with the mission to use technology to make a substantial and positive impact on our changing environment. People Power’s groundbreaking smartphone app, Presence, transforms spare iPhones, iPads, and iPods into wireless video cameras for monitoring and more. Cameras can be monitored in real-time from another iOS device with the Presence app, and they can send meaningful alerts with video clips to the user’s email any time motion is detected. With more than 50 million old devices sitting around in drawers, Presence gives smart devices a second life, a second chance, a new opportunity to serve and create value rather than head to the landfill.

What makes your business stand out?

The People Power Presence platform allows you to go anywhere but still feel safe and connected to your home and loved ones. Presence disrupts the home security market by providing a free way to recycle devices, that would otherwise go unused, as monitoring solutions.
