Tell us about your business.I have always envisioned "Sweet Pastry". I just wasn't sure how to get started. My mom said, "Do it, you have nothing to lose". Everyday it has been an adventure and I love every second of it. I offer a huge array of desserts from confections to cakes. I have an online store, dessert club, and an educational blog where I teach natural baking with good ingredients. Ever wonder how something is made? Ask and I can do a blog post. I love giving you the tools and options to do it yourself or buy it from me. I have just been featured on Channel 9 news, a newspaper and magazine for my business. In 2005 I was awarded USA Pastry Chef of the Year which I had to create a winning Sugar and Chocolate Showpiece. I was the youngest chef to receive this prestigious award.
What makes your business stand out?I love to share my knowledge and skills, that I have learned in my many years of training. I understand we all live busy lives and don't always have time to bake. I try as hard as I can to make it easy for people to buy unprocessed , mass produced chemical laden foods. Sweet Pastry is a company based around eating and teaching others about the beauty and art of food. Every sweet is packaged with love and care.
