Mary Millar

Yacolt, Washington
We are a Family owned and operated wood coffee roasting business based in the heart of Dole Valley Washington.

Tell us about your business.

Millar's Coffee uses a blend of ORGANIC, FAIR TRADE and 100% SUSTAINABLE high quality Arabica green beans. When roasting with the traditional, old world cast iron, Turkish drum roasters, heat is consistently radiated to bring out the full flavor of the beans without burning them. Each one of these batches are roasted by hand with meticulous attention to detail, insuring that each blend is perfect. We have specifically designed our coffee blends to be versatile enough to be used for espresso, as well as drip coffee.

What makes your business stand out?

We have a unique wood roasting process and 100% family run business located on our own property based in the foothills of Mount Saint Helen's. We are dedicated to the most green process of roasting with wood instead of petroleum based products.

What's the best business advice you've received?

Passion is the key to success. Follow the dream then all will follow into place. That its not how much money you make but how much you keep.
