Few Bits

American Made Since 2012

C.C. Boyce

Los Angeles, California
I am a woodworker who makes modern home goods out of scraps. I also produced a comedic webseries to get more people interested in woodworking.

Tell us about your business.

My home goods are made from leftover scraps from my own furniture projects, as well as from other shops who let me pick through their scrap bins in exchange for chocolate chip cookies. What I am able to obtain determines my design. I like clean lines and a minimal look. I grew up in Wisconsin and was always around woodworking. I loved to take things that someone was going to throw away and make something useful out of them. I have been in Los Angeles working as a commercial actor and voice over artist for 15 years. A little over a year ago I rekindled my love of making stuff and started studying toward my certificate in Fine Woodworking at a nearby community college. That paired with my on-camera experience led me to produce a comedic woodworking webseries. What I would love to do is get more people interested in woodworking, and give others access to the knowledge of the skill I love so much.
