Jessie Girl Jewelry
Tell us about your business. In 2009, I was home with two little girls and looking for a way to support our very tight family budget. I started selling beads and charms online, which did very well and provided for us for a few years. In 2012 I saw a need for personalized charms in the European bead bracelet category, so I decided to teach myself how to hand stamp metal. After MUCH trial and error, I began offering these personalized charms to my customers. They were a huge hit! I realized that I could expand my business to include all sorts of jewelry items. Jessie Girl was born! I offer a selection of hand stamped charms, necklaces and bracelets. Each letter is stamped one at a time, so the results are never perfect, but they are unique. I love being able to create something so special for each customer. My items are keepsakes that hold a message that is dear to their hearts. I plan on expanding my collection to include rings, cuff bracelets, little girls jewelry and a mens collection.
What makes your business stand out?I provide one-on-one service to each customer. I communicate with them to create the perfect piece. I also spend time on each piece, polishing and making sure it meets my very high standards. I treat my customers as I would like to be treated.
What's the best business advice you've received?Be flexible! When I started my bead business in 2009, I had NO IDEA I would be creating my own jewelry someday! But I kept my mind open to new ideas, and saw an open door.
