The Liberty Brand Co.
Tell us about your business. The Liberty Brand began with a couple of moms wringing our hands at the state of current affairs. Fearing our children might not enjoy the same freedoms that we cherish, we looked to our country's past for answers and insights. Revisiting American history and the writings of our Founding Fathers, we were struck by their perpetual relevancy. We found inspiration in the story of George Washington's rising sun armchair, prompting our "call-to-action," and The Liberty Brand was born. An image of the rising sun became our company's logo. We create our own original apparel and accessories that are designed to remind, inform and inspire Americans about their heritage through simple, graphic designs. Each piece is unique as it is hand screened with water-based inks. Five percent of each sale is designated to finding and creating innovative ways to educate our country's young patriots - Liberty's kids. Follow The Liberty Brand on Pinterest and Instagram.
What makes your business stand out?Contemplating this question I am reminded of the letter of encouragement my daughter Anne, age 11, wrote me before an important show this spring. Since educating young patriots about our country's heritage is a primary goal of our enterprise, it's fitting, I think, to hear from one: Dear Mommy, I think The Liberty Brand is special and unique. Not only do your shirts have great quality, great designs, and are made in the U.S.A., this all comes together to make your purpose. The Liberty Brand is not just a way for you to make money, like most brands, it is to Remind., Inform., and Inspire., Americans. I think one of the neatest things about The Liberty Brand is y'all have a motto, "Do the work.", and you guys do all the work. You burn the screens, print the designs and tags, and even heat press the shirts. Now, you always Remind., Inform., and Inspire., us. So here is this note to Remind., Inform., and Inspire., you. Don't give up Mommy, Do the work.! Love always, Anne
