Tell us about your business.I started my business in the spring of 2010 in my small one bedroom apartment. The kitchen table was my first work table and the bathroom, my first studio. I am a self-taught artist learning from books, magazines and my own mistakes. I am not afraid to try new things – I believe that being an artist is having the ability to overcome the creative obstacles in our work. I owe my creative growth to these experiences. Currently, I work out of my home studio in Apex, NC. I continue to educate myself by taking professional metalsmith classes at trade schools around the country. I work in most precious metals such as Palladium White Gold, 14-24k Yellow Gold and Sterling Silver. I also recycle precious metals by melting them down and rolling them out into sheet or metal to compose my designs. My current passion is creating custom wedding bands and engagement rings for those who appreciate one of a kind, handmade artwork.
What makes your business stand out?I am my jewelry and I am unique. When I handcraft my work I am creating something that is an extension of myself - a part of my soul I can share with the world.
