With vintage globes and maps as my canvas, and recycled source materials as my medium, I create new worlds that are beautiful and eco-conscious.

Soon after graduating from college, I began my love with decoupage and unusual canvases. back in 2001, I was struck with inspiration, and began decoupaging one-of-a-kind toilet seats. My work became recognized for its originality and after a couple years, I garnered a clientele including many A-list celebrities, retailers, restaurants, hotels, interior designers, and home décor enthusiasts. When I became pregnant in 2005, I had to take a break from "Art de Toilette" because of the harsh glues and finishes I was using. After my daughter was born, I was at a flea market where I stumbled across a beautiful antique globe and immediately recognized my next canvas. In early 2010, I launched ImagineNations and have continued my love affair with decoupage, globes, and most recently, maps. It is such a wonderful, limitless medium, and I feel honored to be putting my stamp on the world.

What makes your business stand out?

I take globes that are no longer geographically accurate and up-cycle them into keepsakes to be treasured forever. I use all environmentally friendly products to create finished products that are both beautiful and earth friendly. My goal is to have my artwork seamlessly blend into the globe (or map) so it looks like it was actually produced as one piece.
