Tell us about your business. This isn't your normal tchotchke shop. Most items are hand made and help to keep the smaller craftsman going year round. Our store presently helps support 200 US jobs conservatively, and we continue to grow that number. The store started one year ago through an epiphany and frustration. Watching the news it was a constant that people blamed Washington about jobs. However they always seemed to have a shopping cart full of items made overseas. I decided to do something about it and see how I could help keep the dollar local and keep my neighbors working.
What makes your business stand out? With an old fashioned mentality on Customer Service we strive to get back to basics and make shopping and gift giving something that can be fun again.
What's the best business advice you've received?Have faith in what you are doing and stick by your guns.
