Tell us about your business.

I have a unique eye for color & design that I've used in my own home to create a comfortable space that tells you exactly who I am when you walk through the door. I started my business helping people tell THEIR story by redesigning their favorite space with unique wall finishes. My specialty became finding that ONE unique accessory that could inspire the décor of an entire room. That gave me the idea to start making my own home accessories as that point of inspiration! My creative process is very meticulous. When I get an idea, I can't wait to get it out there and completed. I love seeing the finished product of something that I've created & the excitement my clients have when they see their visions come to life! At this time, I'm a small home-based business. My products are offered in several retail locations in Ohio and I participate in local art/craft shows. I'd love to eventually be able to open my own shop and offer rental space to other local artists & crafters!

What makes your business stand out?

I love experimenting with different painting techniques, which gives each of my products a unique finish. I mix modern and vintage styles together to create something that compliments any décor. What makes a hand-crafted item so special is the time and attention that the artist puts into each piece. I don’t rush through my process and I’d never sell something that I wouldn’t be proud to hang on my own wall.

What's the best business advice you've received?

The best advice I recieved was, "This (jewelry organizer) is amazing! You should sell these!!". After a trip to my favorite craft store, I suddenly had an entire line of home accessories in my living room! I would never be where I'm at now without the support of my friends and family!
