We sell beautiful things for your home that happen to be sustainable. Our things are made to be loved, used and remembered.

Tell us about your business.

When we founded our company, we envisioned a small business with a human touch: each beautiful item selected by hand, each order carefully packed by someone who cares, each call and email personally answered by someone who can help, and most of all, each customer treated like a dear friend. And we were committed to giving a little back in the form of support of other small businesses like us, and donations to environmental causes. We believe that a small business can make a big difference, that the human touch is a powerful thing, that before we ask our customers to put something into their homes, we'd better love it first, and that working side by side with your family is a really nice thing. When we can make something with a small, local artisan we do that, because we think that's a really nice thing too. Our business will never be a mall chain, an IPO or a buyout. It will always be small, personal, and a happy place to come to work every day.

What makes your business stand out?

Our extraordinarily personal service. Our packages are treasures, our gifts are gorgeous and we have all the time in the world to help our customers decorate their wedding tables, create a beautiful master bed, or choose just the right sofa. It's one of the things that makes our job so fun.

What's the best business advice you've received?

Decide what you love, then find a way to make a living doing it.
