Seal Genie, LLC

American Made Since 2013

Ralph Machesky & Marcia Machesky

Littleton, Colorado
Made in USA product that solves the 100+yr. old problem of "How do you stop your garden hose from leaking all over?" Made to last a lifetime!

Tell us about your business.

Seal Genie, LLC is husband/wife startup with a very unique product- one that other mfg. and companies have overlooked. Our first product - The Seal Genie™ is the worlds most advanced garden hose washer ever created and the last one you will ever need… period! We have U.S. & Worldwide patents pending on our innovation and we are proud to support & bring back extremely high quality products that are Made in the USA. We are going to set the world standard for a durable, simple, functionally elegant solution to a wasteful problem that has existed for far too long. With enough exposure, people around the world will learn they no longer need to continue putting up with the messy, leaking garden hose connections that waste our most precious resource- fresh water! Our planet is roughly 70% covered in water, but only about 1% of that is fit for human consumption. Every drop of water is very valuable- it's time people realize just how important it is!

What makes your business stand out?

The most unique aspect of our business is that we found our 'cause' to align with and support, literally right from the start. 5% of our net profits (after taxes) go to charity: water, a non profit organization that drills wells and completes water projects for millions all around the world! About 800 million people around the world do not have access to clean, safe water and approx. 4100 children die each day due to a lack of clean water. More people die every year from lack of clean water and sanitation than all forms of violence, including war. Our products are designed 180 degrees opposite of 'normal' consumer items. Our product should last practically forever and we hope they can be passed down from generation to generation. There are not many products, if any today that can claim that.

What's the best business advice you've received?

The very best advice were these simple words- Never, ever give up, or quit. With all the hardships, losses and strife we have dealt with quitting would have been the easiest thing in the world to do- but not the right thing to do. “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” ~Thomas Alva Edison
