Little Bird Chocolates
Tell us about your business. Our oven broke. Instead of panicking, Sara grabbed a bag of Corey's favorite animal crackers, melted some chocolate and started dipping. Holiday gifts were saved! Sara invents her crazy recipes then convinces Corey to try them. Once they're perfected, the operations move to the commercial kitchen, where we manufacture our products. Then the 'selling' stage occurs. It's in quotations because the products really do sell themselves - all we have to do is let people taste. We foresee a wholesale operations based in Queens, NY but reaching the entire United States with our delectables. Our current goals include being on shelves of major retailers, specialty markets and perhaps a hotel or two. After that - we conquer the chocolate-MAKING world. One bean at a time.
What makes your business stand out?Besides our AWESOME product line, it is our unique approach to the creativity in the kitchen that sets us apart. Mostly though, it's our Chocolate Covered Candied Jalapeños. Yes, I said Jalapeños.
What's the best business advice you've received?Figure out your focus. Restructure as often as necessary. Take a deep breath. Find a great Mentor. Ask as many questions as you need to.
