Tell us about your business.COUEF, which stands for Chair * Ottoman * Upholstered * End Table * Furniture, is a collection of over 20 pieces that are fully customizable for any taste or situation. Chicago land's finest artisans have painstakingly scrutinized every detail to guarantee the originality and quality of every COUEF design. COUEF was created by design team Danielle Yucht and Jamie Schachtel of the Jamie Schachtel Design Group, an interior design firm based out of Chicago land. Jamie specializes in creating innovative and livable environments to suit her client’s needs. Over 25 years of Jamie listening, understanding, and designing have led to the creation of a line of furniture that encompasses her visions of high design as well as serving a useful home function. The concept is creating harmony in space so no matter what the situation entails the pieces remain usable and the center of attention. The synthesis of ideas and usability created COUEF.
What makes your business stand out?We offer transitional furniture that can fit into any room style from traditional to modern. These pieces allow users to effortlessly recreate living spaces to suit their changing social situations.
What's the best business advice you've received? The best business advice we have ever received was to keep you overhead down and stay MADE IN THE USA. With the shrinking trend of furniture being made over seas this motto has kept us on the forefront of design and manufacturing. We have quality control over our pieces and we are able to employ people in this country. We feel strongly about being MADE IN THE USA and we are staying here.
