Tell us about your business.I have always loved baking for family and friends. I am always the one who loves to bring desserts to events. Last year I decided to start Cheery Pies and follow my passion for baking. I believe in using the very best ingredients for my pies so I work with local farm and use what fruit they have in season for my pies. I have sought out local flour, butter, spices and more for my pies so that they can truly be the best pie you have ever tasted. I see myself moving on from my licensed kitchen into a bigger space and eventually opening a pie shop and cafe. At my cafe I would serve savory and sweet pies along with seasonal vegetables and salads. I would also love to have a pie garden alongside my cafe.
What makes your business stand out?My pie business is unique because I love to bring new flavor combinations that are out of the ordinary like apricot blueberry or peach butterscotch. Also, I love to design my pies by using artful top crust designs that make the pie a work of art.
