Seth Parks Glass
Tell us about your business. My interest in design started at a young age. Having a natural ability with drawing & sculpting clay is what initially inspired me to pursue a career in the creative arts. It was after taking glass blowing lessons from a local artist that I found my true passion. From there, I went on to more in-depth glass blowing classes with some of the best glassblowers in the world. In 2004, I set up my own glass studio in my home in Maine making smaller pieces like vases, goblets, etc. I moved my business to Los Angeles in 2007 and shortly after began making custom lighting. I wanted to design & create statement pieces and I love depth & dimension that light adds to glass. Ultimately, I hope that my work will help continue the American glass art movement. Hand blown glass should be displayed & appreciated as fine art. Functional fine art adds practicality. I’m fortunate to have found a career that brings joy & excitement to people and that I love & am truly passionate about.
What makes your business stand out?Everything I make is custom and one of a kind. My customers come to me with a vision in mind, and I work closely with them to bring that vision to life.
