Tell us about your business.I have been making jewelry since 2004 but had pushed it to the side with my busy work schedule and kids -- one day a patient walked in and told me she was organizing a fundraiser to benefit a local breast cancer awareness organization and asked me to make something for her. I created a bracelet and from there she really encouraged me to keep up with it and I decided to create and indulge my love for designing jewelry....I use whatever i can for inspiration-- people will ususally ask me to create a custom piece for them and from there I start .... always including my client in the creative process-- (like my paw print pet bracelets).... I recently told a client that this is something I LOVE doing-- I have my job,, my kids,, my busy life-- but this is something I do JUST FOR ME! and if in that I can be a part of something that is special for another person -- then I can't ask for more :)
What makes your business stand out?My business is unique because I strive to make my customer completely satisfied and happy :) always including them in every aspect of the process and I take pride in the fact that my items are unique and different.
What's the best business advice you've received? The best advice was from my friend Felicia who told me "girl.. what are you waiting for... if you want to do it then DO IT!"
