Tell us about your business.

My love affair with design and interactive media is woven into each cube. Pair this with our commitment to using organic, eco-friendly materials and we are in the business of creating memorable experiences and relevant products for our customers. The idea of CooCube was conceived after the birth of my first daughter 6 years ago. So far it's been a labor of love - dreaming each detail, designing each pixel, developing every word. After sourcing materials, prototyping and working at it for 5 years (post kiddo bedtime) I finally decided, after the birth of my 4th child, to leave my 10+yr creative career to pursue my dream. We are off to a great start! A July 2013 Indiegogo campaign successfully sold pre-orders in anticipation of our official launch in October 2013. The online personalization tool at will finally be open for business! And we are ready. I am inspired by the possibility of what can be and look forward to what is ahead for CooCube.

What makes your business stand out?

With a simple online tool we invite the customer into the design process. That means each CooCube is as unique as the child it celebrates. Upload favorite photographs, include important names, dates and birth stats or simply spell Mom's favorite sentiment. We sew all of this together with our coordinated patterns to make a one-of-a-kind toy. Personal photographs and sentiments are printed, on-demand with non toxic inks on 100% organic cotton. Then each Coocube is stuffed with soft recycled fill made from plastic bottles that otherwise would reside in landfills. Each CooCube is hand-stitched with love and sent on it's way. Soft, squishy and safe both parents and babies love CooCubes! We desire to "sew" love into the core of our company. We are excited to be gifting a portion of our proceeds to worthy organizations working to positively impact the lives of children. We just wrote our first check to The Judah Quy Home for Precious Little Ones and couldn't be more thrilled.
