Crafts,

Tell us about your business.

I had a dream growing up to own my own business. I found the perfect idea shortly after graduating with a degree in Business and getting married. With the new found love for cooking, home decor, and all things linen and chic, I dreamt up the perfect style of apron. One that was sophisticated and for all ages. It was later as I was making cards for pleasure that the idea of covering them with fabric and printing vintage images came to mind. I believe pictures often send a louder message than words. Currently, I make everything myself with utmost attention to detail. I love to package my products with dried lavender and twine and hope people get just as excited to receive my products as I do to send them. I would love to see my products in stores, big or small, across the country in the near future. I look forward to gaining more knowledge from seasoned business owners and feel blessed to do what I am passionate about. I am elated about the future and believe no dream is too big.

What makes your business stand out?

Every apron is one-of-a-kind and handmade, containing 1800-1900's vintage fabric from France. All images on the Vintage-inspired cards are images that I have taken and edited. 10% of every product sold is given to a non-profit organization. An organization will receive the 10% donation for a 3 month period, at which time a different organization will be chosen.

What's the best business advice you've received?

Believe in yourself, believe in your work and keep on going.
