Flowers from the Garden is a wedding and special event floral design business specializing in paper flowers and paper replica bouquets.

Tell us about your business.

I got a call from a bride one afternoon looking for black and white flowers for her upcoming wedding. This sparked a wonderful idea to handcraft paper flowers to fulfill each bride's wedding flower dream. I love how creative I can get with paper flowers! With fresh flowers there are limitations on what flowers are available and brides have to be careful to keep them from wilting. With paper flowers brides can find the exact style to fit their taste and paper flower will never wilt no matter how hot their summer wedding is. Many brides are choosing paper flowers for their weddings because of the unique look, the ability to customize, and they are allergy free. The bouquets are also wonderful keepsake from the big day. For first "paper" wedding anniversary I enjoy making paper replica bouquets. Being an avid gardener I love the opportunity to create all kinds of different flowers that I see in these beautiful bouquet. A paper replica bouquet makes the perfect anniversary gift!

What makes your business stand out?

Each paper flower is handcrafted petal by petal out of cardstock and crepe paper to each bride's specific taste. Custom bouquets have included pages from a favorite book, maps from a memorable trip or a love letters from a special someone. I also create first wedding anniversary replica bouquets. Traditionally the first anniversary gift is paper, a replica of her bridal bouquet is a perfect gift. With paper there are no limits to your color scheme or creative ideas... The possibilities are endless!
