Tell us about your business.

The platter is handcrafted from beams of wormy chestnut salvaged from dismantled barns and homes of the southern Appalachians. Tiny holes bored by insects are common in the milled lumber of American chestnut “I love the process of turning rough lumber into something beautiful,” says Lock. “I’m always amazed at what can be done with something so ordinary.”

What makes your business stand out?

TEQUILA BUFFET is an affordable home furnishing gift or wedding present. “What makes it unique is that there’s a level of design that brings it into the realm of art.”

What's the best business advice you've received?

"the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them".
