Boho Wire Wrapped Jewelry On The Rocks
Tell us about your business.I've had a lifelong fascination with intricate handmade items as well as artwork and have always been creative. When I found myself with enough time to pursue some form of artistic endeavor wire weaving came very naturally. My favorite jewelry has always been the delicately gorgeous Turkish filigree that my grandmother so loved, and the type of wire work I do seems to build on that visual tradition. My process is actually boring for others to watch because I use very tiny elements to create a work of jewelry art. My motto is "I am not obsessed, I'm focused", and I guess most of us that do very intricate wire work can say that. I would like to find more people who like the things I make and continue to add to my skills set as I grow my little business.
What makes your business stand out?I guess what makes me unique is my focus on the structural integrity of the delicate looking jewelry that I make. I am always testing to make sure that most of my jewelry will hold up to the wear and tear of everyday life. I don't use patterns so for the most part every piece is unique so it's important that my methods and materials be the very best they can be.
What's the best business advice you've received? The most important business asset you can have is a sterling reputation. Go above and beyond in customer service for your clients, give them good clear images and information about your product and trust them.
