Tell us about your business.

Beropa Co. cuts and sews traditional luxurious textiles into bathrobes and bedding. We create beautiful treasures that are sturdy enough to stand the test of time. Using traditional sewing methods mixed with modern techniques, our creations are true to form and honest. We strive to use only natural and biodegradable textiles, and sew all our seams with Silk thread, a strong alternative to synthetics. Our bathrobes are made from traditional Hammam towels, that are woven on hand-looms by artisans in Turkey. They are strong and resilient, and last for 100s of years in use in Turkish bathhouses. We also offer a variety of hard to find, specialty sewing and craft supplies. We only offer the best of the best, the most unique supplies. An important criteria is for them to last indefinitely, with proper care, in addition their hyper-functionality. Founder, Beverly Pagone, is driven by her passion to create beautiful objects for rugged everyday use and enjoyment.

What makes your business stand out?

We outsource for quality, not to save on costs. The best silk and silk fabrics are found in China, the most luxurious and dense Hammam towels are woven on hand-looms in Turkey. We look for the best, and highest quality product in our efforts to make the most pure and honest sewn goods, to last a lifetime. We also use a unique mix of traditional and modern techniques. In our effort to use all natural, bio-degradable, fibers, we sew all our seams with 100% Silk thread. This was traditionally the thread of choice due to its strength, sheen and softness. All the objects we create are meant to look beautiful, but most importantly, to function excellently and be rugged, everyday companions. We create items that you can count on to stick around for a long time. All our garments and bedding are cut and sewn in the USA!

What's the best business advice you've received?

"The important thing is not where you were or where you are but where you want to get" -David Schwartz
