DoStix help bakers get perfectly even dough every time. These easy to use guides are great for pies, cookies, fondant, and even crafts!

Tell us about your business.

The concept for DoStix occurred to me in 2008. I am a food stylist by trade and make A LOT of cookies and other baked goodies that need to be perfect for book and magazine photography. Trying to get dough rolled out evenly and to the correct thickness always requires a little bit of guess work, and when you are in a hurry, it's nice to just roll and keep moving.... Taa-Daa, DoStix! I thought these sticks were too good to keep to myself, so in 2010 I finally got up the nerve to give producing them a shot. It has been a wonderful learning experience so far and now comes the true test, will people think they are as cool as I do? DoStix can be used for cookies, pastries, pie dough, cinnamon rolles, fondant and even art projects with clay. DoStix is located in Des Moines, Iowa, and we've been selling our sticks since July 2011. Our online store has been live since September 2011. The DoStix team is really small so far, but I hope we have the opportunity to grow. Right now
