My passion is "Fashion"! I began designing women's accessories and now have a children's & men's accessory collection as well.

Tell us about your business.

I'm always on the look out for new and inspiring looks in the fashion world, which helps me stay ahead of each new season of colors, fabrics and designs. Since 2000 I have out grown my kitchen table/craft area and now have a comfy shabby chic design studio in the upper level of our home, complete with fabric storage closets, design tables, a computer for invoices and a shipping area. I have to say, I do spend a lot of hours there. I've noticed since having our two beautiful grand-daughter's it has really opened up a softer more elegant side to my designs in the past 2yrs. We are now awaiting our first grand-son, so I'm looking forward to starting a Lil Mr. Bow Tie collection next year. Great things are happening here in the Lin~Taylor Studio...

What makes your business stand out?

A lot of my women and children's accessories are one of a kind pieces. Even though I may use the same exact materials, no two ever come out the same. It's the sewing technique I use which gives each accessory it's own uniqueness. I like that!

What's the best business advice you've received?

To live our creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong! This is so true in a designers world, stop second guessing and do it...
