Black Dog Brown Dog Art

American Made Since 2012

Jennie Hible

St. Peters, Missouri
I decided to try glass fusing as a way to relieve stress. I didn't expect it to turn into a passion, but I am so glad that it did!

Tell us about your business.

When I started glass fusing I never thought it would become a passion. I absolutely love working with glass and the possibilities are endless. There is very little waste in my studio as all the scraps are added to other projects or fired into pot melts.

What makes your business stand out?

I recently started working with a lot of recycled glass. I was shocked how much glass was ending up in the landfill and being wasted. I knew right away that all of this "old" and unwanted glass could become beautiful works of art. I had no idea just how beautiful it would really be. Not only am I doing what I love, but I am also helping the environment!
