Tell us about your business. This business started from a blog post I wrote about creating custom eco-friendly party supplies. I made wooden ice cream spoons with my kids names on them and had so much fun making them I didn't want to stop! I posted some on Etsy, and was amazed at their sudden popularity. As my orders grew I figured out processes for creating them, and dreamed up new designs. Finally it was too big for me to handle alone and in 2012, one year after starting, I moved into a studio and put together a great team to help with production, wholesale, development and all the other aspects of growing a little cottage industry. Everything is still printed by hand and I intend to keep it that way. Making things by hand allows us to create custom items for people interested in special colors, designs and phrases to match their party or business. I am dedicated to keeping our products eco-friendly and creating great designs and new products for the entertainment industry.
What makes your business stand out? It's hard to create a brand new product, and that's exactly what I've done. There was no such thing as a hand printed wooden utensil, and they're now both a tabletop and design fixture.
