Tell us about your business.

Objects With Purpose is the culmination of experiences and vision of Ianthe Mauro. Once upon a time...Ianthe's kindergarten teacher lit a candle before lunch at her Waldorf School, taking a moment to give gratitude. Lighting a candle became Ianthe's way of giving thanks, focusing on an intention, creating warm fragrant ambiance, and calming down at the end of a long day. As an adult, Ianthe discovered many of the candles she'd been lighting were toxic! Researching the safest cleanest candles to burn for her family, she discovered organic coconut butter wax. Having high standards in design, as well as quality, Objects With Purpose candles were born to deliver non-toxic sophisticated conscientious candles to everyone. Ianthe takes great care in creating the cleanest safest candles, using all made in the USA materials and recycled elements. Offering 5 sizes to fit any budget. Ianthe believes wishes on a candle are not just for birthday's. Ignite your wish every day!

What makes your business stand out?

objects with purpose candles are so pure they are wearable! Not just when lit. Ianthe's candles come with a little wooden dipping stick to access the soft butter to use as solid perfume or body butter. A beautiful box of matches with the bird nest logo comes with every candle that says "ignite your wish". The scents are inspired by and named after Ianthe's family. Her children Asher Dahlia & Francesca are all represented with their own candles. For her mother's 70th birthday she unveiled Antonia's Turn, celebrating her mother's literal turns as a flamenco dancer and choreographer.
