Tell us about your business.

Norma's Bath and Body started in 2004 and ship bath goodies all over the US and some International! I started My Business Norma's Bath and Body back in 2004. It was an accident, just slid into making soap. I had worked in a retail store and had an car accident. after leaving work, I had to find something to do. I started making other types of crafts like for weddings and for kids, and then I explored with making soaps, and lotions etc. My would be husband encouraged me to go beyond making them for family. to sell online at Ebay. and from there it's been my Passion night and day. I absolutely love what I do! and I think everyone ought to love what they do for a living and it doesn't matter what it is that you do. I plan to have a couple retail stores one day. one store in Kentucky, and another bath and body store outside of Kentucky. I love making bath products that will make a difference. to keep customers coming back! Moisturizing n' fruity! the body bakery!

What makes your business stand out?

Norma's Bath and Body is unique without a doubt. you cannot walk into a retail store and see a soap sickle, or a cupcake soap that is handmade. nor do you see ice cream cone soaps anywhere! I have over 200 yummy scents. that is very rare to find such a huge variety of scents when you are shopping in a retail store. I love having the Fruity, bakery, floral, clean and relaxing scents for everyone! I don't like limited products for my buyers. I love having a Huge Variety available! I also have the most yummiest Sugar body scrubs. these are not the usual oily sugar scrubs. mine are made just like a slushie. it's light w/ with little oils. you'll want to eat them! Also have baby rattle cupcake soaps for a boy and for a girl. they are unique.. trust me! Again, it's my huge variety of products that I have. over 1,000 products. It's my wide selection of scents and the products that I make that makes me stand out. I love it.. I absolutely Do! and my buyers too.

What's the best business advice you've received?

I've not gotten a whole lot of advice when I started my bath and body business. I learned everything through trial and error. I was self taught in 2004, and self taught today. I do wish someone had of told me how hard this is, because it is just that! but I love it, and it's worth it:)
