Tell us about your business.

House Blend Organics began by a mama who was looking for relief for her child's allergies, she unknowingly started a fabulous business she named Nourish Organics. Three washes, three balms, and an oil were what started this business. Since then, we have completed a rebrand and renamed the company to House Blend Organics. All of the products have been named after real family members who have given us so much inspiration along the way. We have created a family line that is relatable to consumers, and provides safe alternatives to everyday products. House Blend Organics products are handcrafted out of our home. All products are made with fresh ingredients and in small batches to ensure that our customers receive the best product possible. We excel in customer service and that is our number one priority daily. Through this business, we have formed long, lasting relationships with customers and wholesalers.

What makes your business stand out?

House Blend organic skincare was born when one Mama had to find a way to soothe her itty-bitty baby's eczema. Turns out, even prescription creams can't heal what organic ingredients can. Luckily, Mama knew best. Ever since this happy ending, we've added more and more organic products to our skincare line, each in honor of a family member who has inspired us along the way. And we feel good putting their names on every label because we only use 100% natural ingredients to make our certified organic products.(Yeah, that makes us smile too.) Best of all, every House Blend product is safe for skin of all ages--from Mom to Baby and everyone else in the nest. So get your own, or share yours with someone over a story or two. No skin - old or new - should have to suffer through a rough patch. Your family might see a few, but if we can help it you'll make it through each one a little more smoothly.

What's the best business advice you've received?

Learn from failures--Fail Forward. Don't throw all your eggs into one basket, try things slowly and if they work, then it is time to go full force in that direction.
