Tell us about your business.

As someone that could not bake, but loved to entertain, I always struggled with dessert at the end of a party. I started dipping berries and making bouquets. Over the years they got more elaborate and I had many requests from friends to make them. When my small children went to K and 1st grade my husband and I decided to make a go of it and started Berrylicious Bouquets. We have already grown our business from just offering Bouquets to also offering our Berrylicious Goody line which can now be purchased in 6 stores locally. The Goody line includes things like chocolate covered oreos, twizzlers, graham crackers, peanut brittle, and many more. In the last month we have launched our newest avenue. The Berrylicious Birthday Party. An in home chocolate birthday party for children. We are now looking for a designer to design a box that would allow us to SHIP our bouquets. This year we got well over 1000 requests to ship our product, we need the right box to do it.

What makes your business stand out?

Here at Berrylicious Bouquets we custom make your bouquet to accent your party, theme or event. We have over 100 different sprinkles, sugar dusts, quinns, coconut and nuts. We make your bouquet within 2 hours of delivery to ensure the freshest product possible. We speak to each customer that orders personally and get to know them, their personality and try and show that in their order.

What's the best business advice you've received?

I looked at my husband before we started Berrylicious Bouquets and said, "I am really scared, what if I fail". He looked at me and said, "You will never even have the chance to fail if you don't give it a shot". 20 months later here we are, getting better everyday. Do I feel like I fail at things sometimes? Sure, but knowing how it feels to succeed makes it all worth it.
