Crafts,

Tell us about your business.

Hoops and Dangles sells unique handmade and collectible vintage jewelry. In 2001, My mother and I began selling vintage jewelry, gathered from yard sales and flea markets, on eBay. As time passed we accumulated a lot of beautiful, but broken pieces. In 2010 I started to revamp the broken jewelry pieces that were unfit to sell. The new handmade jewelry pieces were sold on Etsy as Hoops and Dangles. Since the start of Hoops and Dangles, in 2010, sales have been completed via the internet, craft shows and by word of mouth. Growth is steady and I see Hoops and Dangles evolving to the next level by featuring more of our designs and including other handmade artists and vintage jewelry dealers on our website and blogs.

What makes your business stand out?

Hoops and Dangles is unique because our handmade pieces are one of a kind and are crafted with rare and unique vintage beads and findings.
