Tell us about your business.

Every since I can remember, I've always had a love for pickles. There's nothing better than a delicious crunchy pickle paired with your favorite sandwich, or all by itself. For years I toyed with making homemade pickles but had heard stories of how many steps were involved, how difficult it was, how they didn't turn out good, and so on. All the nightmarish stories were enough for me to be ok with buying my pickles already made. Until about four years ago, I said "The heck with it! I'm going to try", so I made a jar or two. They weren't the greatest...I'll be honest, but after tweaking the recipe here and there, I figured it out! For a while I just made a few jars over the summer for my friends when we went out on the lake. Little by little they started requesting I make them more and more and finally, suggested I sell them. So...here I am. I've decided to sell my pickles for the world to enjoy. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Positively Pickled!

What makes your business stand out?

My pickles don't taste like any other pickle I have ever eaten. Everyone who tries them just goes NUTS over them. I don't know what it is. I've even converted people who despised pickles. They are fresh and crispy and have a great flavor. What makes Positively Pickled unique would have to be the recipe.

What's the best business advice you've received?

Best business advice I've received is to take things one step at a time and not get overwhelmed with how many millions of steps are involved. I believe in my product and I know I can be successful one day. I continue to take steps everyday towards my goal.
