Stand Out Style
Tell us about your business.I started making jewelry in 2005 after graduating with my B.S. in business. I wanted to try something new. I love making jewelry & started by making bracelets. Initially I sold to my family, friends & coworkers. In 2006, I started selling at craft shows. My jewelry accomplishments include being interviewed by a Lawrence, KS news station & providing jewelry for Johnson County Community College's fashion show in 2009. I had a unique experience in October 2009 in Los Angeles, CA when I had my jewelry reviewed by a jewelry buyer for a national retail store. The jewelry buyer said I had talent & she loved my designs! My creative process depends on the style & color of the beads. At times I am able to envision my jewelry designs in the store. I can put colors together based on my intuition. I have been complimented about my wide variety of color combinations. My creative process is inspired by color & being unique. My business is evolving in a big way and new direction since its my 8th year!
What makes your business stand out?Designing jewelry is a process of creativity, exploring designs techniques/procedures and visual design based on colors and style. Being a jewelry artist I am always growing in my craft, learning new techniques and designs and inspired by the colors and passion.
