Tell us about your business.

My youngest Sophie Grace was the inspiration for starting Sophie Grace Couture where I work as a Baby Planner. I had really only made accessories for my daughters, my husband suggested I take them to the local craft fair. They were so well received I added them to my website, and Little Luxuries was born, The growth was so tremendous I decided to open an etsy shop. So hear I am 2 years later I am running two businesses with a toddler and 4 busy teenagers, loving every minute of it. Everything I do is handcrafted with all the inspiration and love that comes with being a mom. I take the time to painstakingly hand cut each layer of petals on every flower. I heat shape and sculpt each petal around the flower center. So just like in nature no two flowers are ever the same. I draw inspiration from art, fabric, and the outdoors. I see my evolution as being as organic as my designs. Perhaps moving from just an etsy shop that offers accessories to a entire line of juvenile products.

What makes your business stand out?

Little Luxuries is unique because I make what makes me happy I don't copy I make what I love and, what sets us apart is that I give back. Sure there are tons of accessory and "headband" makers on etsy but, for every headband I sell I donate one to Boxes Of Love a cause that sends care packages to children actively battling cancer. It's my version of one for one and we call it #givelove

What's the best business advice you've received?

The absolute best business advice I ever received was do what makes you happy. If you are doing what you love it won't seem like work. I have adopted this into my accessories I make what I love and what I would wear my self or put on my children. Finding the Beauty in the every day opens you up to being even more creative.
