Tell us about your business. After many years working in special events for museums and art centers, we opened EightTreeStreet in 2011, first as a small Etsy shop dedicated to handmade florals, wreaths and silk designs. Working with local clients, wedding industry professionals, we have expanded our studio to offer full service floral designs for weddings, events and home decor. We now work with interior designers, wedding planners, couples and flower lovers, to design specialty arrangements for each event and occasion. We are still a home-based mom and pop business, but we love the opportunity to have clients be part of our family. In addition to our clients, we have forged great relationships with wedding professionals, and we love collaborating with blogs and magazines, a wonderful experience that is now allowing us to expand our styling services for events, photo shoots and editorials -- designs with a handcrafted touch. As seen in Pretty Pear Bride and Broadway & Thresher magazines.
What makes your business stand out?Our floral design studio is built 100% on custom work, we listen to our clients and develop close relationships with them to make their experience amazing. Each wedding, event and floral design for home or gift is unique and has an identity of its own, I take into consideration colors, textures and flowers that creates the overall look we want.
What's the best business advice you've received? The best advice I received from a wedding industry professional was to always offer a fresh look into designs and new ideas without losing my own identity and design perspective, making each design experience unique and exceptional. I love custom designing all my florals, and this unique opportunity to bring the client's vision to life its both enriching and inspiring.
