Tell us about your business. We started out selling tutus at the local flea market. Discovering that was not the best place for us, although popular, we searched for another outlet. I saw etsy in Martha Stewart Living one day and the rest is history! IWe love to create based on things and people who inspire us. I am a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn. Her style, grace, and humanitarian efforts inspire me. I searched and no one had made the classic little black dress for kids. I could not believe it. It was an instant hit! We connect using social media and share a bit of ourselves as well as new creations and experiences via pictures. We feel that the way to connect to our audience is by telling a story. A picture truly is worth a thousand words! Our next step is to try the wholesale market. We are currently working in line sheets to send out. It is an exciting prospect!
What makes your business stand out?We believe we sell a story with our tutus and the photographers that we are fortunate enough to work with. We are passionate for what we create. We hand make them using only the finest lead-free, non-flammable tulle that is made in the USA. We and sign each tag and pack the boxes up from our homes. We deliver the packages to the post office. It is a small but growing family business.
What's the best business advice you've received? If you do what you love you will never work a day in your life.
