Tell us about your business.I began my Etsy shop in '07 selling sewn brooches and antiquey finds. Over the years I have narrowed my focus to grain sack and vintage textile pillows, grain sack cuff bracelets and jewelry. The next step will be for me to hire a seamstress so that I can devote more of my time to design. I have entire home lines and jewelry lines designed in my head and can't wait to make them happen! What makes your business stand out?I make each piece in my studio, using vintage materials, and each piece is one of a kind.
What's the best business advice you've received? The best advice I've gotten was from Etsy, which is to make what you love, not what you think will sell. Customers can feel that difference.
