Do-It-Yourself Dollhouse

Martha Stewart Living, March 2013

Yes, a dollhouse can be set up in the kitchen without being constantly underfoot. Blogger and cookbook author Jenny Rosenstrach, of Dinner: A Love Story, turned a small cabinet into a mini house for her daughters. To make one, cut foam board to create walls. Spray-mount decorative paper to the foam-board walls for wallpaper. Decorate with dollhouse furniture. Best of all, when the kids are done playing, just close the doors.
