Steps

  1. Step 1 of 4

Download clip art, and print on transfer paper. (Use dark-T-shirt transfer paper if ironing onto a colored fabric.)

  2. Step 2 of 4

Cut out design. If printing on colored fabric transfer, trim as close to outline as possible.

  3. Step 3 of 4

Position design on fabric as desired. (If making the above tote, cut out the components separately and place them on corresponding parts of the bag.)

  4. Step 4 of 4

Following the manufacturer's instructions for the transfer paper, press design onto fabric.

I went to Home Depot & found the little canvas bag by Kline Tools. Then I realized that on one side of the bag was the logo/brand name for Kline Tools printed on one side. How lame is that? I didn't buy the bag & it wasted a lot of time. Did your researcher not realize it was printed on one side? It was very disappointing.

sooooooooooo cute ! I made a few for Christmas gifts , to save on the price of the transfer paper ( since I am making several ) I printed the templates on regular paper and then cut out and by using double sided tape I taped what would fit on a 8x11 sheet , scanned it and used that to print on the transfer paper .

I didn't print the ' straps ' I just used a sharpie and drew my own on the strap .

    Have FUN !!
