Tea-Towel Table Runners

Transform your patio table by sewing together tea towels to make table runners -- a casual alternative to a full tablecloth.
Martha Stewart Living, August 2012

Crafts editor Blake Ramsey came up with the idea of sewing together tea towels to make table runners -- and instantly transformed this patio table. It is an easy way to add color and pattern to your table and is a casual alternative to a full tablecloth. Here, we were inspired by graphic Scandinavian prints, both new and old. But if you mine your own trove of tea towels, chances are you'll come up with some great combinations, too.

I love the way you and Mera make your directions not only so clear, but so desirable. We all want to make tea towels now. Or, at least, we want some of yours. Have a wonderful time cuddling the chubby cats and hanging pictures on the walls of your red house. I can’t wait to read about your personal styles.assignment writers
