Holiday Recipe Book
A holiday meal is an elaborate production. Keep all the components together by assembling the recipes as a folding menu.
- White paper
- Colored paper
- Bone folder
Print recipes out into four columns on horizontal 11-by-17-inch paper. Fold paper in half, then fold each half back on itself using a bone folder to press each fold -- each recipe will have its own page.
For the cover, cut a sheet of colored paper to 11 by 5 1/4 inches. Fold in one of the 11-inch edges to make a 1/2 inch flap. Print the name of the holiday on white paper, cut it out, and glue to cover. Use a bone folder to score a box around the title; glue cover flap to back of first page.
To make a longer book, add a second folded page, overlapping the sheets by 1/2 inch and gluing, or abut the edges and use a strip of paper with glue on one side to "tape" them together. Fold the book where the two sheets meet.
