Herb Sugar

This fresh and fragrant sugar is wonderful sprinkled on fruit salad or pineapple rings, used to rim cocktail glasses, or stirred into lemonade or iced tea.

  • Yield: Makes 1 cup

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh tender herbs, such as basil, mint, or cilantro


  1. In a food processor, combine sugar and herbs. Pulse until herbs are finely ground and mixture is well combined.
