To create a cascading star pattern, as shown here, cluster stars close together at the top of the lantern and paste stars farther apart toward the bottom. Hang the lanterns in a group for maximum impact. When the party's over, fold them up and tuck them away for next year's celebration.
Tools and Materials
- White glue
- Paintbrush
- Tissue paper
- Crepe paper
- Streamers
- Chinese lanterns
How-To
- Accordion-fold tissue paper several layers high, and punch with a star punch. (A single sheet will tear under the weight of the punch.)
- Combine 1 part white glue with 1 part water.
- Brush glue mixture on the lantern; attach stars. Brush another layer of the glue mixture on top.
- Attach a single 24-inch strip of crepe paper to the lantern by twisting it around the bottom wire of the lantern.

Then I decided to have it from www.justartifacts.net
