Decorating with Branches

Driftwood, or any other sturdy branch, goes from sculptural to functional when suspended underneath a kitchen shelf. Simply thread it through open wall brackets and use it for dish towels; to hold other lightweight items such as pitchers, pot holders, and cutting boards, try S hooks and loops of thick twine.

Really? Old sticks with junk and wet towels hanging off them? Yikes! It would have to be a really special stick.
