For an unexpected alternative to flowers, try this balloon bouquet.
Use our template to print letters on card stock; cut them out, and then punch a hole at the top of each. String the letters onto three helium-filled balloons using baker's twine.
Finally, fasten the balloons to Mom's chair or bed, spacing them out a bit. The cheerful display will have her floating on air.
Be sure not to release helium balloons outside once you are finished with them, because they present a hazard to animals.

Way cool! Another fun alternative to getting flowers is to grow the Mother's Day Plant that reacts to affection by closing its leaves when you Tickle It or blow it a kiss. See video Mother's Day Plant
The balloon bouquet is really cute! A nice bouquet of tissue paper flowers at the side would really brighten Mom's day too!
Wont there be a problem with the M flopping to the side if you just put a single [filtered word] in the top? I was tryning to see if there were two holes, but I cant see more than one in th epictures.
