Festive Flower Container How-To
Cut pinecones in half, along the spine, with a pair of sharp floral scissors; Trim any rough edges. (You will need enough uncut pinecones to cover half the container.)
Apply hot glue along the spine of the cut pinecone and adhere to the container, lengthwise. Glue a strip of moss next to the pinecone half. To avoid burns, use a skewer to tamp down the moss and to help fill in any gaps along the pinecone.
Alternate gluing the pinecone halves and moss until the entire container is covered.
Place a planted flowering bulb into the container. Cover the base of the plant with the remaining moss to hide the top edge of the container; top with decorative rocks.
